Dreamers

"drawing is my passion, my gateway to peace. Because when I draw everything around me disappears and I feel like I am taken to a sunny garden with swings and birds. Everythng is so peaceful and my mind is in black. All the focus and thoughts are on the object I am drawing." by Jazmine
I absolutely love that place, that place where we go... Its awsome, its the place we go when we are in peace and bored. it is our spot. ours only we can include what we want and what we dont want. Find pure bliss, hold on to it and control it. its yours.

Barak DeCelle VS. Alexander Supertramp

I feel like Alexander Super tramp. In general Im introverted. Its really strange because I constantly give off a extroverted IDGAF kind of persona. If I left after I graduated and never came back im sure people wouldnt notice... too damn bad. another thing im sure of is how much people would be missing out. If i would just let go of my responsibilities, to go live like some damn animal, One im sure i would enjoy nature/ being a nudist. but honestly my word would not be spread. I have so much to teach people; about themselves and the world.
Most people dont hold what I hold within. Sometimes its overwhelming to have so much to say, so most the time I block everything out, doing my thing with some headphone music glaring...   In my mind and soul i posess animalistic qualities and senses. It doesnt seem human. I am my fathers son, but yet I am a son and soul of Mother Nature. I have this connection that i cannot explain, its like i belong with the friggin wolfs or something. I sense when there is pray around, In presence, I can read peoples thaughts and emotions extraordinarily well... call me a freak or what ever u want but Just know I am honest and far more supeirior than you puny humans. Can you with out suicide, leave your body and watch over people from above? My heart body and soul are strong like the buffalo, but you could call me crow, thats who I am. She gave me the name.

NO VACANCY ICED-LANDER HOTEL

The City Council is set to consider buying the Alameda Islander Motel and moving forward with plans to redevelop it as housing for low-income workers. The Islander’s owner wants $8 million for the property, city officials said.
The agreement would give city staff a year to come up with the money to purchase the 69-unit motel, which sits at 2428 Central Avenue. The city may need to raise up to $10 million of its own money to buy and redevelop the half-acre property, and will need to issue bonds to do so, according to a city staff report.
The council, sitting as the Community Improvement Commission, is set to discuss the proposed purchase Tuesday. City staff is also planning to seek out a developer to revamp the site.
An unnamed San Diego-based affordable housing developer had entered into an agreement to purchase the property in June, but the deal fell through when the developer was unable to negotiate a reduction in the owner’s $8 million asking price or an extension of time to complete the deal, according to the staff report.
The Islander began its life in 1971 as a 62-unit apartment building, which was later converted into a motel. About a third of the units there are exempt from paying the city’s transit occupancy tax because they house people for longer than 27 days.
Property records listed the taxable value of the motel at $1,122,781.
In other development news, the council will also consider whether to okay an exclusive agreement with Warmington Homes that would allow the developer to build homes where the Alameda Animal Shelter and the city’s Corporation Yard now stand.
The San Ramon-based developer would have 18 months to work out a deal with the city to develop 25 to 27 homes on the properties, which sit adjacent to its current Grand Marina project, at 1590 Fortmann Way and 1616 Fortmann Way. Their right to negotiate a deal would expire in May of 2012, though city staff anticipate a deal can be hammered out by August of 2011.
Meanwhile, the city would work to figure out where the animal shelter and corporation yard would go – and how they would come up with as much as $5 million to move them. The council in September allotted $376,000 to study potential relocation sites, and the study is expected to be completed in May of 2011.

Personally i would agree to get that dumb out of here and renovated. the damn hotel is disgusting and it is a breeding ground for crackheads and iced out weirdo's selling crystal meth or some crap like that! I've seen it with my own eyes.
Its not only a good for nothing dirty place with bed bugs, its party grounds for teens who want to pull all nighters, drinking or what not. i wouldn't want to party there. I read some reviews and i guess it is not uncommon to find syringes in the drawers right next to their bible. It is a really really dirty place, but for some people i guess its got its  benefits, just like the golf course that they are considering getting rid of.

Im Conspiring A Sneaky Plan!

Well for about four years now Ive always bugged my father to allow me to get a puppy. Ive never owned one. to me it seemed like when I got my full point across to him, he would understand and consider allowing me to get a pup. That would get my hopes up. but every time I came close to getting everything ready, and the time to decide was coming closer. he would totally back out and deny he ever considered it...
this really bothers me. it always has. the other day i went to the dog park with a friend and her dog. sitting there while i watched the dogs play I could totally see myself being an owner of one of them. they are so full of joy and love. i just want that to be given to me freely by a friend. its hard for me to find that in a human relationship probably due to some psychological fears that i hold within. Honestly i couldn't point out what it is that drives me to keep my distance but i don't feel like opening up to everyone. Especially when there are people judging and stressing over the small stuff.
but anyways, here is my dilemma I have the money to take care of a growing puppy, i have the opportunity to get one... I'm not allowed to get one, but I'm planning on sneaking it. i would come home and somehow get the dog passed my dad with out him seeing. Maybe i could put him in my back yard until i can get him in through the back door and into my room... hmmm. my dad will definitely find out. I just hope he doesn't like, kill my dogie. i honestly don't know what he will do, that's why i will leave him at a babysitters house during my school time :)
only thing in the way is that idk if i could make enough money to pay for a baby sitter while paying for everything else as well. hmm. I have passion for this plan. I would do it. because it would be worth it and I would love it. but i could get hurt...  my last dog was never a dog. he was a coward, he was a miniature pinscher.  he left our family about a month ago. my step mom left him out in the back yard for hours and he got out. Her GOOD MEMORY saved my dogs life.... my dog landed in the arms of an animal patrol officer and was arrested. my dad and step mom decided to leave him there because they don't want to pay a fee, and oh yeah! don't forget, she is also allergic to dog hair... honestly she probably left my dog out on purpose. but anyways there no proof so i shouldn't be saying that. i just think its fucked up that im not allowed to get one on my own. as in a pup that i don't leave home everyday. I want a pup that i can have with me and take with me everywhere :) hopefully that will happen.
just gotta stack my money
and get the perfect dog when the time comes.
may be tomorrow or in a week. still haven't made up my mind,.maybe next year.

arguementative?

Cohen's arguement is stating an extremely well thought out point. Most people would agree that when you go shopping, its good looking employees that entice customers. I disagree because of the following three reasons. Bias views could develope towards buisnesses who only hire a certain stereo-type, someones extremely "good looks"  could discourage someone not as adequate, and lastly, discrimination of employees to be hired is illegal!

From my personal experiences ive not noticed that the employees I saw while shopping could effect my influence on coming back or purchasing more product. Now that im aware of this I see this method of sales in a completely different perception. I now find that I have growing bais views towards these buisnesses who practice this strategy, mostly because they use their own bias judgement for greed and sucess. I hope that people will see things as they are, when they do Im sure that those buisnesses being discriminative towards us people, will slowly die down.

Anyhow, imagine you are in a store buying some clothes. You see someone really good looking and you realize what they are wearing, you really like it and you find it on the shelf. All your life you havent always felt the most confident. when you notice that the person who is standing infront of you is wearing what your about to buy, you get discouraged... This has never been one of my personal experiences, but I remember how it once was to not feel confident in yourself and appearance. Its pretty discouraging and discouragement by itself is powerful enough to stop and make you put back that outfit that you were about to buy, another reason against the hiring of "model-type-quality" people.

If I was caught being discriminative towards a fellow class mate of mine don't you think I would likely get into trouble? I would expect it! That's why I agree with California's law prohibiting discrimination in employment and housing on the basis of age, race, color, sex, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, disability, medical condition, and marital status. If for no good reason, you believe you were treated differently than others, you may also be a victim of prohibited discrimination, and you should take legal actions to deal with it the right way.

In conclusion, growing bias view, getting discouraged, and discrimination in the work place, are valid reasons why i disagree with Cohen's arguement. Im sure there are other arguements directed from the other side, but this is my opinion, and these are my thoughts.

[CE]The Morman State's Rebels Retaliate.

SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — Thousands of people stripped to their underwear and ran through Salt Lake City to protest what they called the "uptight" laws of Utah.
Undie Run organizer Nate Porter says the goal of the event Saturday was to organize people frustrated by the conservative nature of the state's politics.
Nudity was prohibited by organizers. Participants donned bras, panties, nightgowns, swimwear or colorful boxer shorts — and some added political messages by expressing support for causes like gay marriage on their chests, backs or legs.
Salt Lake City is the home of the Mormon church, which is a vocal opponent of gay marriage.
Porter estimates 3,000 people participated in the run, which began in downtown Salt Lake City and circled past the state Capitol building about a mile away.

[RE]On The Run by Courtney Winterbauer

"I leap down from my porch and my feet are just going as if they have a mind of their own....then time flies. Yes, running is enjoyable when you get there....and then I check what time it is." by Courtney Winterbauer

I love this line, its something I could completely relate to since I love running. I cant be believe it, I'm a loser. I'd say that I was a "suckka" for the adrenaline. its something I enjoy. My favorite part is being stuck in that very moment where your next move is either life or death, well at least close to death :P its not like I go out doing near death stunts just for the hell of it, but when they arrive in my path i usually bear through it and take the right step. I also like the way you say "its as if your feet have a mind of their own" that is totally true, when you become stable and comfortably balance then you are capable of many things, thingies that you don't really expect to be possible. push you limits! run your hardest! do what you imagined you couldn't do. just for the personal satisfaction. nothing other.

now I'm in the mood to go ride my skateboard. ha ha something I'm new too. but I'm getting more comfortable with. I recently got new wheels they are a lot smoother, making it better for me to go faster! Speed is an awesome rush as well! LIVE ACTIVE!!!

[FREE]On time.

I wish we we all lay swept out, out on country land, all spread out, there's no reason to pout.
I wish watching the stars with no plans, lounging In gentle natures hand.
We could dream these wishes together, take this boring life we live and add sugar to make it better.
Its bland, churn the milk to make it butter, create something tasteful out of something that's bitter.
We all say that peter piper picked a pepper, but did he? or was it the censor that claims a bit not to remember?
were never on time with the right line, if you don't come correct your bound to be checked,
I'm never on time with my mind, i fear it may be one second behind, please tell if its just me because I'd appreciate it, it’d be kind.
we all seemed to shiver between the fact that were all getting bigger, we'll all be moving on soon and move on to something splendor.
We all got our shoe shine on, we all got the disease.
Shoot the pride in the eye and move on, there's no one but yourself to please.
Take off the brand new clothes and put on your old favorite jeans.
We all got those comfy clothes so just relax, hang out , leave a comment, talk to me, and if it makes you feel better, release your "me", create a chimney and blow off some steam.
u guys should let me help you its one of my dreams, but I bet I’d be great at it, u wouldn't guess its my thing, like some kind of blanket of care I bring.

RE: The Economy by Anna Erway

"It is a known fact that unemployment has hit an extremely high percentage.
Many will even go as far as to compare it to the days of the Great
Depression of the 1930s." (From
Anna.)
As this unemployment issue is skyrocketting the worlds economy is getting more rigid. This effects peoples efficiency to live. Some people are being evicted, and forced out of their homes. But most people who know the system well enough end up applying unemployment checks from the gov't before that happens. Even so. not everyone can be saved from unemployment checks, some people get evicted anyways because land owners get ideas to renovate. Due to low economy and high pensions, it seems like the elders have the upper hand here. I think otherwise, if one was to get a job working for the city, people would be better off. I think we need to just support our economy with jobs that actually count... like water. everyone needs clean water to drink, work at a freaking water treatment plant. we all need food, why not become farmer with masses of veggies. why not be a doctor, with skills to make medicines out of plants. I can see how people are getting lazy and not persueing jobs that make complete difference in every single persons life.NOT I....

[FREE] My Ideal person.

I love beautiful people, the people I keep close to me are all extremely special, beautiful people. still I want more..Well,.naturally for me I think that girls now days need to step their game up. I always see some of the most gorgeous girls hanging out with the dumbest of the guys. I can say it's only because I have my own opinion of uncool and cool.... But any-who... lets get on with this...  from my perspective and the others who share the same; I would like to say you need to step up your game. Literally go catch which ever beautiful person you have in mind, when they least expect it, ASK!...them if they want to hang out. and if they say no, then they are losers as well. thats why they hang out with the crowd they hang out. if they would like to turn themselves into UN-beautiful people then so be it.
If and only If he/she says "Yes lets hang out." is when you should start talking to them more. This is where the process begins, you talk then leave, you meet up, hang out for the first time and see if they are cool. if they start acting how they would act around their other friends you have to check 'em. I know it sounds blunt but in the end its all about respect. and beautiful people always have respect to give. when you so call "check" your new friend your response to his/her silly "act" and playful, its never good to get to serious about something a beautiful person does because #1 he/she is most likely doing it only to impress you. Or #2  if something is done that honestly needs a serious response, it's probably pretty evident already that you wont be hanging each other again. End of story.

I love beautiful girls who are secure and confident. When a woman is 100% secure with themselves it just draws me in, its got so many benefits! when a woman is secure with their body it brings the most fun, endless restlessness, I hope you already know where I'm going with this, so I'll stop. When a secure woman is standing  in a room full of other beautiful woman, you can expect things to not get out of hand if you decide to take things a little further. This ties in with confidence as well. I would never want a girl with low confidence levels, that right  off the bat sounds boring! whether that would be just going with the flow, never objecting to the dumb things i say and do, or the big  J. Jealousy is not something I want in my life. I've tried my best to avoid it and I am doing pretty well with it as well.
to be continued... when I feel like it..... :P

[DRAFT#1] COLLEGE PROMPT #1

Hello, briefly i will introduce myself for those who don't know me, I pretty much grew up living with my dad in Alameda my whole life. I had to deal with the lame struggles of my parents custody battles, I'm not going to get into that because it seems like a complete irrelevant story that some how seems to sneak its way into school writing assignments. But over all if i need to really explain myself and my upbringing, I would just call myself normal, the normal kid who has his good days and his bad. I grew up with a huge hectic family, being the youngest I luckily missed out on all the wild mischievous things my older brothers were doing. I felt at a certain point in life that i was wasting my life away searching for happiness, as i got older i realized it was right under the tip of my nose. I stopped getting into trouble and I learned that good behavior brings less punishments and more fun! Even now, after all this growing up I've done, i still cant even say what types of dreams and aspirations i hold within. I've gotten into a pattern of going with the flow of life, still steady and on the right path, not being lazy, but  living, taking in what I attract in life, and accepting good opportunities that land within my grasp.

[RE] Unhappy?

"The problems that we may come across might be hard to deal with, but in the end, it is the sufferings that make us strive for happiness. (from Sharmaine Caoile)
This specific phrase is one that gets me thinking. It actually made me decide to put my headphones on and play some good music before I began to write my full response.... BUT, anyways... this statement is a very true one, at the same time in my opinion its a little bit depressing. For most who often tend think about this sort of thing, may feel that it's irrelevant to actually give consideration towards other peoples hardships, ESPECIALLY when we are all going through our own. I'd guess it's like, when everybody is dealing with their own issues, there oblivious to the outside... to the other man's feelings. I know that things could get hard at times but if you stay suffering, and act inconsiderate towards others, then you will end up being more unhappy. Its common sense. We should all know by now not to throw a fit and block people out when were angry... Especially when its your friends, teachers, and classmates that are there to help you. So yes, we deal with these problems that we come across, and  in the end you will be striving for happiness. But if I'm making sense, and you understand what I'm trying to say, then it could be possible to just by-pass the whole striving part. Just jump straight to the happiness part. This could be done with the acceptance of others whom give joy, and the keeping the knowledge that you create your own reality. You don't have to let anything negative into your life if you don't want to. Be in charge, filter out what u don't need, keep your head on straight and stay grounded...

[FREE]Seahorse Party 101

"I fucking love LIGHTHOSES! If you don't fucking like LIGHTHOUSES?! YOU SUCK!!!" OK, so this weekend when I got of of school was invited to a sea hoarse part'y! Me being just moved down here from New York, I really took advantage of this opportunity arrrigh't! I Got in the car and drove down to there neck of the woods and all I heard was mutt'n robot seahorses! After that this is what happened.... Since it was my twenty first birthday i bought myself a blue moon and sat down with one of my seahorse friends, we gossiped a bit and then i tol em' that i ought to be going... I forgot to mention that i was part seahorse so I gave my seahorse brother and his girlfriend a ring on the tele' I went to meet up with them after i finished my beer. I showed up to the cave and my brother his girlfriend, Sola, a few ol' friends Dotiso, Jalarey, nd Joesey were hangin out while i watched them get super intoxicated from the mc'rown fried pickle at CJ's chum bucket... Meanwhile, my friend Joesey is flirting with Jalerey! Dotiso has strong feelings about jalerey... I really didnt notice, but Dotiso did. He got mad threw a fit and started punching/headbutting the fence! he stormed off so we all convinced Jalerey to try and get him to come back and chill with us. Jalerey left and they went to talk below the coral reef, in private... Eventually we realized they've been gone for about two hours. We go to check on them and I guess, after all the confusion Jalerey somehow ended up taking her role of cheering Dotiso up, a little too far..... Dotiso, being the sensitive seahorse, virgin that he is, feelings for Jalerey now, are even stronger. Again its just me on the sidelines playing the fence. All this fuckin drama seems to breed, it was just a plain seahorse party. what am i supposed to say. its like two seahorses like the same seahorse, but its the decision of the seahorse choosing that determines who is going to get who! In this case, even tho Dotiso just Lost his virginity in the coral reef below, Jalerey and Joesey, are creepin on the low, getting there little seahorse thang on, at night! But anyways. we decide to leave so we gather everyone up and hop in the boat. Right before we drive away my brothers girlfriend jumps jumps out of the boat, out of anger my brother runs after her and starts stomping on peoples flowerpots violently.... we left them because they were being out of pocket. On the way home it never dawned on us that Joesey was too drunk to be driving... we ran a red light at a really busy intersection and could have gotten killed. luckely we swerved out of the way of an oncoming car and barely dodged it. we got the the house and I spoke to my mom. Shes actually a mermaid so she lives in the lagoon. we chatted it up for a bit then i went to my dads house to go sleep. The next day I went over to my moms house to see my brother again. only one home was my mom, she told me that when Joesey took Jalerey home, he crashed. there alright but Joesey totaled the boat. I really hope that Joesey calms down on the damn fried pickles, they really fuck you up! what i learned from this extra ordinary seahorse party, is that this beach is way to small, its like everyone knows everyone and it's inevitable to have a friend that is either dating, or has dated one of your ex's. And this is why i love the seahorse world, because honestly if i everdated someone in this reef, she would have to be a fuckin beautiful mermaid! not a dumb seahorse. Dramatic times are here, not at all to stay.

[FREE]thoughts come fast.

Oh yeah, I'm going to think out loud for a minute,
I may ramble because there are a few things on my mind...
like...
For some reason on a sometimes unconscious level, we all choose and pick whom we want as our friends. especially when making a first impression.... the shit part of this fact is that people constantly change, and to avoid being a leaf in the wind you must change as well. forget the seasons and forget the fun, hold to the rod. hold to the rod of happiness, satisfaction, long life and if your real, you must stay on your toes and always never to forget choose the right... hahah and im not even talkin about CTR, this is all about health.

Some's good, some for the bad
All and all I can't complain that's what I've been through,baby

so I...
I wondered all this time 'bout how U been
And I hoped by chance I'd see U once again
I'd love 2 kiss your lips baby once again
I, long 2 hold U tight girl, one mo'gin

I know U got someone, I got somebody 2
But I'm unhappy and I miss the shit we used 2 do
I miss your smile, your mouth, your laughter, baby
I never bumped into your kind before or after

ooh baby! and I...
I wondered all this time 'bout how U been

[CE]Where are we going with this place?

KID'S NOW-A-DAYS....

Okay, so if you have already watched this video above than you most likely already know what I'm thinking right now... What is this world really coming to? This earth, this ginormous work of art that we the people live on and are destroying each day. What compels us to do such things?
metaphorically, I think its because people are caught up in a fog, they can’t see through it, but they can’t live with out it. The moisture in the air blocking their sight is just enough to keep them hydrated... For the moment, the people we hear about stuck in the foggy mist are just living care free, doing what they please. Not thinking about the consequences that will arrive from the examples set for the children. all they see is what is in front of them. I would say that people need to start taking caution for the future. We all cannot always be so willy-nilly about things, especially things we teach the kids. OUR FUTURE LIES IN THEIR HANDS! I notice around me the attitudes of the generations below me, some kids are totally disrespectful. I guess the only ones to blame are those damn adults stuck in the fog. What I'd really love to do is change the world. I’m no super hero, but I sure have no problem shedding some light on this blogger for any one in the whole Internet world to see...
We have to get out of the fog people! We have to wake up, stick our necks out for something necessary, walk over to the water fountain and actually take a sip of pure H
20. not the crap that’s been floating around in the air like germs searching for a body to land on to be absorbed.

[FREE]Shopping. Failure or success?

Okay I haven't actually made a blog with two hundred and fifty words yet so why don't I start this out on a very contradictory topic. Today, I went shopping. First I went to this store called flowers. I went looking for a new pair of shoes. Now in the store; talking it up casually, as I paid with a hundred dollar bill. he gave me my change back then I was on my way. As I was walking back to home base I felt like my wallet was a little bit too swollen. After realizing, to tell the truth, I walked into the elevator to take a little ride alone. I pulled out my wallet and counted the bills. There in my hand was five twenties, seven one dollar bills, and two fives. There was actually a lady in the elevator with me at the time so I mentioned that a clerk had given me the wrong change! “It was way over!” I said. she replied “good for you haha good for you!!” as she left the elevator in a joyful mood. I was like damn this is a good way for Karma to hit me in the face :) Later, I met up with my friend, we drove up to Kohl’s together and I picked out some more clothes, bought them and left. As I was on my way home I called and told my dad about what happened at flowers. “Hey Dad! guess what!” I said anxiously. He asked and I told him the story... I swear, he’s always trying to make me feel bad or something. I totally didn't expect him to say in that, I was the one doing wrong in this situation... I guess I kind of did take advantage of the clerks poor mistake. I just didn’t see it like that. My step mom tried guilt tripping me into returning the money after I talked to her about it as well; the funny thing is that I didn't expect her to respond that way either... She reminded me of the golden rule, treating others the way you wish to be treated is the one... I totally understood But just wished that they would get off my back. I feel a little conflicted here. “I can’t bring the money back because I spent it all at Kohl’s” I answered. Honestly, I think the guy at the register should learn from this. He needs to quit getting so stoned all the time and pay attention while hes at work! If that was me at the register and I made that mistake, I know it would suck but realistically, I don’t think any one would return the cash. Some times making mistakes is just a part of life. Some learn from them and some gain from them. In this case I definitely gained...
